Anna Giovanna Sciancalepore was born in 1979.
She graduated summa cum laude in Biology from Bari University in 2003 with a degree thesis focused on target preparation to microarray analysis.
In 2007 she received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, defending a dissertation on the effects of caloric restricted diet and supplementation of ALCAR on rat mithocondrial biogenesis.
From March 2006 to May 2008 she worked at Sintesi SCpA, a R&D company developing mechatronic solutions. Here she was involved in the realization of an automated workstation for extraction and purification of nucleic acids.
Since June 2008 she is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at NNL-National Nanotechnology Laboratory, INFM-CNR in Lecce.
She has experimental experience in fields such as spectroscopic and fluorimetric analysis on nucleic acids and proteins, Real Time PCR, microarrays, histochemical assays
